Reports now confirm that Man City have made a final decision on the future of their first-choice goalkeeper, Ederson.

Following numerous interests from clubs in Europe and also in Saudi Arabia, the Premier League champions Man City have reportedly made their final decision on the future of their first-choice goalkeeper Ederson at the club ahead of the 2024/2025 club football season.

Reports suggest that Manchester City are preparing to present their goalkeeper, Ederson, with a final contract extension offer to prevent him from joining the Saudi Pro League.

According to popular media outlet The Sun, the reigning Premier League champions are set to issue a “take it or leave it” proposal to the Brazilian star in hopes of keeping him from transferring to Al-Nassr, where he could possibly join Cristiano Ronaldo.

Al-Nassr is reportedly offering Ederson a lucrative deal worth £900,000 per week, along with a substantial signing bonus. While Manchester City cannot match the financial package proposed by the Saudi Arabian club, they are set to propose a long-term contract with a 75 percent increase in his current wages. Should Ederson accept the new City contract, he would likely earn £1 million per month starting next season.
